Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Senior Application Engineer to join our team on-site in Irvine, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing hardware and firmware for our innovative CMOS-based solutions. Daily tasks include debugging hardware, collaborating with hardware engineers, implementing reference designs, writing application notes and supporting customers. You will also contribute to improving performance and functionality to support high-speed data transmission over copper and optical interconnects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
  • Experience with high-speed (>25 GHz) analog physical layer ICs
  • Experience with board design for >25GHz applications, including debugging and troubleshooting
  • Experience with DCA, BERT, VNA
  • Experience with with ASICs with integrated PAM4 SerDes
  • Experience with publishing application notes
  • Experience with supporting customers

Salary Range: $120K-$200k , with Employees stock options

We are seeking a full-time Firmware Engineer to join our team on-site in Irvine, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing embedded software for our innovative CMOS-based solutions. Daily tasks include debugging software, collaborating with hardware engineers, implementing firmware based on ARM-based MCU and supporting customers. You will also contribute to improving performance and functionality to support high-speed data transmission and efficient AI integration.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science
  • Experience in developing firmware for embedded systems, including debugging and troubleshooting
  • Proficiency in C, C++, Python (including Numpy and Matplotlib Python libraries)
  • Familiarity with MCU architectures, particularly MCUs in the STM32 family
  • Knowledge of communication protocols such as SPI, GPIO, I2C, TCP/IP
  • Familiarity with workflow tools such as Git, Github, Jira, project documentation
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, on-site environment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with high-speed data transmission is a plus
  • Experience with supporting customers

Salary Range: $120K-$180k , with Employees stock options
